T Liner

Using LMK Technology, the LMK T liner is a one piece main and lateral connection liner, using CIPP (cured in place pipe), will eliminate infiltration as well as root intrusion. The T Liner is a one piece, full circle system that seals the interface between the mainline and the lateral while extending up the lateral.  The T-Liner can handle bends and transitions for up to 200 feet from the mainline.  The renewal of lateral pipes and the main/lateral connection is typically performed by pressing a resin saturated mainline liner against the interior of a mainline CIPP as a resin saturated liner tube is inverted into the lateral pipe. Most commonly, the lateral pipe is renewed to the public/private property line while utilizing a clean out.

Features:

  • 18” renewal of mainline
  • Uniform wall thickness
  • Lateral lining up to 100’ long (to reach property line)
  • Engineered end seals to ensure a long term water tight transition

Lateral CIPP

Iron Horse LLC is a licensed installer of LMK Technologies felt liner. This type of liner is what we employ for most lateral connection projects.  The key to our CIPP lateral liners is the LMK O Rings and LMK Hydro Hat.

Using LMK Technology, the LMK Lateral Liner System can be installed anywhere in the pipe by inversion through the cleanout.  Liners can be installed from 4” – 8” in diameter and continue up to 150’.  Liners can be installed upstream or downstream with the ease of a trenchless install.

Vac-A-Tee

The LMK PVC Vac-A-Tee saddle is installed upstream from where the CIPP Lateral is to be installed.  The saddle is attached to a riser pipe which is equal to the depth from the surface down to the lateral pipe, creating a clean out for install of a CIPP Liner.  For install, a hole is vacuum excavated to meet the lateral pipe.  Then the saddle is snapped on to the host pipe and secured with an epoxy that creates a water-tight seal; which, is applied underneath the saddle pre install.  After successful install a diamond core saw created an opening to the lateral pipe.

“VAC-A-TEE is a trenchless cleanout installation system that is environmentally friendly, utility friendly, and installer friendly. Installed by means of hydro or vacuum excavation, the VAC-A-TEE system is a clean and safe method for installing a new cleanout, which provides access to the sewer lateral pipe for cleaning, lining, root removal, CCTV, etc. The system involves a patented PVC saddle, riser pipe of appropriate length, and proprietary hybrid adhesive/sealant. After a small diameter borehole has been created, the contractor applies the adhesive to the underside of the saddle and then snaps it onto the lateral pipe. Once the adhesive cures, it forms a watertight seal with the pipe, and a diamond core saw is then used to cut and remove the crown of the pipe. Finally, the borehole is backfilled, and sod is used to restore the landscaping, leaving the yard virtually untouched”.

Sectional Liner

Iron Horse LLC employs the LMK Sectional Liner Process to restore  mainline pipes from 8”-36” up to 150’ in length while also continuously sealing the lateral connection up to 8’.  LMK Patented Hydrophilic O-Rings are implanted at the end points of the liner to ensure a water tight seal between the host pipe and the liner.  The positioning process allows the liner to be inverted with no trimming necessary, as well as allowing the liner to be inverted anywhere in the pipe and also ensures the resin will only release at the desired repair point due to our specialized launch hose.

Sectional Liners

“LMK’s Performance Liner® Sectional process renews pipes from 8 to 36 inches in diameter and in continuous lengths up to 50 feet. The liner can be inverted anywhere in the pipe with no trimming or cutting. The result is a structural, root proof, watertight seal. Performance Liner Sectional conforms 100% to ASTM F2599-11. Gasket-sealing technology is used at the terminating points of the liner by embedding LMK patented Insignia™ Hydrophilic O-Rings between the liner and host pipe to ensure a watertight seal.

Compressible material is incorporated at the upstream and downstream ends of the liner for a smooth tapered transition to the old host pipe. During the positioning process, there is no resin loss because the liner is fully contained in the launch hose. Resin comes in contact with the pipe only at the point of repair and migrates into fractures and open joints creating a mechanical lock. Unlike other less precise systems, air pressure is never dropped, which would allow jarred sections of pipe to collapse onto the liner causing further damage and a potential dig. Other 2-step inversion systems also have an uneven resin distribution from the crown to the invert of the pipe. Performance Liner Sectional Repairs are a one-step, long-term, CIPP solution.”
